additional description:
The scene in which Florence Cathcart arrives at boarding school for boys of the richest areas in Rookford, after the mysterious death of one of them to a rational explanation of the tragedy.
The painter Artemisia Gentileschi studied painting under Agostino Tassiego, by whom she had been raped, and despite his wishes to marry her, challenged it in court. During the trial she was tortured, which was the conception of the court her testimony credible. Tassi, who planned, as proved during the process, to kill his wife and steal some paintings of Artemisia's father, was eventually sentenced to one year in prison. This experience influenced the Gentileschi's painting, such as Judith killing Holofernes painted shortly after the incident.
Picture perfect match to the scene in the movie. Underlines the status of the place, but it also builds tension and mystery.
